Here's Why Studio117 Creative Exists
Let's go back to 2020 for a minute.
The world was upside down, and everywhere I looked, I saw talented entrepreneurs pivoting, launching side hustles, and trying to turn their gifts into sustainable businesses. They had the vision, the passion, and the drive…but tech kept getting in the way.
And I kept thinking: This doesn't have to be this hard.
I've always been the “figure it out” person. The problem solver. The one who looks at complicated systems and breaks them down until they make sense.
I'd spent years as a licensed insurance agent, an analyst, a corporate trainer for the Department of Defense, and in customer service roles for digital marketing and WordPress plugin companies. Different industries, different problems… but the same pattern: people getting stuck on tech that didn't need to be that complicated.
I Know
As someone who's neurodivergent, I understand what it means to want to stay in your zone of genius. You didn't start your business to become a tech expert… you started it to use YOUR gifts. And one of my superpowers? Making complicated things not be that hard.
So when I saw all these amazing business owners struggling with technology that was keeping them from doing what they do best, I knew exactly what needed to exist: a space where tech education meets real support. Where you don't have to choose between learning it yourself or staying dependent on someone who won't explain anything.
That's why Studio117 Creative was born.
Not just to build websites and fix tech problems—but to bridge the gap between “I have no idea what I'm doing” and “I've got this handled.” To create systems that make sense. To teach everything I know without gatekeeping. To help business owners stay in their zone of genius while their tech actually works for them.
