Client Need

Dr. Wilson Okello is a transdisciplinary artist and scholar with over 50 scholarly publications, a forthcoming book, and an active speaking and consulting practice. As an Assistant Professor at Penn State University and Director of the Black Study in Education Lab, he needed a professional website that could represent the full depth and complexity of his work.

His unique position at the intersection of art and academia required something that could honor his scholarly credentials without flattening the artistic and performative elements of his practice. A generic academic webpage was not going to cut it.
